Republican State Representative for East Texas David Simpson was grateful to be elected State Representative of House District 7 in 2010 after defeating a seven term incumbent in the March Republican primary and then a general election challenge that November. District 7 is comprised of Gregg County and northern Smith County and includes the cities of Longview, Kilgore, White Oak, Gladewater, Liberty City, Lindale, Hideaway and Winona. 
Representative Barbara Nash represents the 93rd District of Texas. Representative Barbara Nash is serving her first term in the State Legislature after a career of public service with the Trinity River Authority, the Arlington City Council and the Arlington ISD Board of Trustees. She sits on both the House Committee on Insurance and on Pensions, Investments and Financial Services.

Carlos “Charlie” Garza was elected in 2010 to represent the citizens of District 1 of the State Board of Education. He currently serves as vice chair of the board's Committee on School Initiatives.
Ken Legler represents House District 144 in the Texas Legislature. As a third generation Texan and Pasadena native, Representative Legler is active in the local business community and has served as a board member for the Chamber of Commerce and economic development organizations in the area.

Ivan A. Andarza is currently Chairman of the Board of the Texas Guaranteed Student Loan Corporation, being appointed to the board by Governor Rick Perry in 2007 and confirmed by the Texas Senate that same year.
Stephanie Klick was elected Chairman of the Tarrant County Republican Party September 17, 2005, after having served as Vice Chair for over 5 years.
Joe Pojman, Ph.D., is the founder and executive director of Texas Alliance for Life, an independent, nonpartisan, nonsectarian, pro-life organization whose goals are to protect innocent human life from conception through natural death through peaceful, legal means.
Angie Chen Button is currently serving her second term as State Representative. She currently serves on the House Appropriations committee and is the Vice Chair of the Technology Committee. She represents District 112 which includes parts of Richardson and Garland in Dallas County.
Kenneth Sheets is a fresman Republican State Representative representing the 107th House District of Texas.
David Bellow is an Army National Guardsman and a State Republican Executive Committeeman from Lumberton, Texas (Hardin County). Like most residents in east Texas, Bellow has had to endure watching the good old boy Democrat controlled county’s officials do nothing as public money has been wasted and misused.
