When Liberty Is Under Assault, Americans Rise to Defend It

If there is one principle that has been true from the dawn of our nation, it is that when liberty is under assault, Americans rise to defend it.

Right now today, we see liberty under assault. We see our fundamental rights, our First Amendment, our Second Amendment, all of our fundamental rights as Americans under assault, and it is a concerted assault. I am proud to stand with the men and women gathered here. I'm proud to stand with you in support of the Second Amendment."
