- Many Americans in underserved and rural areas lack sufficient access to care and pay excessive premiums for services they receive.
- In the 118th Congress, the Committee on Ways and Means has strengthened lifelines for rural communities and protected Americans from surprise medical bills regardless of where they live through the No Surprises Act.
- Members will explore models of care delivery, like community paramedicine, to ensure existing models are improving care for underserved communities.
