Congressman Neugebauer on Terrorist Financing, ISIL

Today I questioned the Hon. David S. Cohen, Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, U.S. Department of the Treasury, at a hearing on terrorist financing and ISIL.

To eliminate the global threat of ISIL, we need to defeat and destroy them on the front lines of the battlefield and engage in a financial war on their funding sources. We cannot continue to allow these terrorists to raise $1-$2 million per day to carry out their attacks. I remain committed to working with my colleagues on the House Financial Services Committee and in Congress to protect the American people by combating ISIL from every angle.
