Texas Leaders & Advocacy Organizations to Encourage Enactment of Lawful Protections for Long-term Undocumented Individuals

DALLAS, TX—On Friday, May 31, at 9:30 a.m. CT, FWD.us, the American Immigration Council, Every Texan, the National Immigration Forum, the Texas Immigration Law Council, and the American Business Immigration Coalition, will host an event on the importance of Texas' immigrant population and the opportunities for Texans to support immigrants and those who rely on them.

This event comes as there is growing momentum for President Biden to take action to provide affirmative relief to long-term undocumented residents in the United States through Parole in Place, expanded Temporary Protected Status (TPS) protections, and relief for family caregivers, among other forms of affirmative relief.
