As a columnist, television personality and author, George F. Will is one of the most widely recognized, and widely read, writers in the world. With more than 450 newspapers, a biweekly Newsweek column and appearances as a political commentator on ABC, Will may be one of the most influential writers in America.

In 1976, Will won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary, for his newspaper columns, and garnered awards for his Newsweek columns, including a finalist citation in the essays and criticism category of the 1979 National Magazine Awards competition. He was also the recipient of a 1978 National Headliners Award for his "consistently outstanding special features columns" appearing in Newsweek. An economist by training, Kibbe is a well-respected national public policy expert, bestselling author and political commentator. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Congressman John Carter

U.S. Representative John R. Carter was re-elected in a landslide in November 2012 to his sixth term representing Texas' Thirty-First Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives. Congressman Carter was selected this term as Chairman of the Homeland Security Subcommittee on Appropriations and also to serve on the Commerce, Justice and Science Subcommittee and Defense Subcommittee. In addition, this is his third term as Co-Chairman of the bipartisan House Army Caucus. He has been a member of the House Appropriations Committee since 2004.

Since his first election in 2002, Congressman Carter has established himself as a leader in Congress who has the foresight and courage to author and support numerous pieces of legislation that would increase the protection of U.S. citizens and bring justice to those who threaten our freedom and way of life. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Gordy Bunch

As a decorated veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Richard “Gordy” Bunch is the only candidate in the Senate SD-4 Special Election race who has actually protected our sovereign soil and borders. In four years of active duty, he participated on missions to intercept drug smugglers and human traffickers before their cargo could reach American shores. Gordy was rated as an expert marksman and is proud to be a lifetime NRA member. He received the Coast Guard’s Achievement Medal for restructuring the service’s purchasing and inventory systems, saving precious taxpayer dollars.

Voice of the Conservative Vote: Joe Barton

Congressman Joe Barton is U.S. Representative of Congressional District 6. Congressman Barton was first elected to serve the Sixth District of Texas in 1984. In 2004, he was selected by his colleagues to be the Chairman of the House Committee on Energy & Commerce – the oldest standing legislative House committee. Barton was the first Texan since former House Speaker Sam Rayburn to chair this important committee. The Energy & Commerce Committee has arguably the broadest non tax-oriented jurisdiction of any congressional committee, with principal House responsibility over matters relating to commerce, public health and marketplace interests. Voice of the Conservative Vote: John Baucum

John Baucum is President of the Houston Young Republicans. John recently married his beautiful wife Danielle and they are enjoying starting their life together. He is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Geography. John’s interest in geography began by traveling with his father across the United States. During his youth, John’s family hosted exchange students from Denmark, Brazil, Spain, and Germany.

Professionally, he works in Information Technology and Geographic Information Systems. As a GIS Support Analyst, John has an eye for detail and the creativity to solve problems. His work has also included consulting jobs at major energy companies in the Houston area. In his spare time, John enjoys collecting election data and doing spatial analysis on voting trends. Technology is a very powerful tool to build networks and spread information. GIS helps to identify areas for targeting and identifying new individuals that are ready to get involved as grassroots activists to change bad laws. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Michael McCaul

Congressman Michael T. McCaul is currently serving his fifth term representing Texas' 10th District in the United States Congress. The 10th Congressional District of Texas stretches from Austin to the Houston suburbs, and includes Austin, Bastrop, Colorado, Fayette, Harris, Lee, Travis, Washington and Waller Counties.

Ryan Sitton is a candidate for Texas Railroad Commissinoer. Ryan Sitton is a native Texan and a 1998 graduate of Texas A&M University, where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and met his future wife, Jennifer. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Jerry Patterson

Jerry Patterson is a Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor of Texas.

On November 15, 1946, Jerry Patterson was born in Houston, Texas. He attended Houston public schools and graduated from Jesse H. Jones High School in 1965.

In college at Texas A&M, Jerry lettered in swimming and was a member of the Corps of Cadets. As a history major, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree – Class of 1969. Sid Miller is a Republican candidate for Texas Agriculture Commissioner.

A True Rural Texan
Sid Miller earns his living from the land raising crops, cattle, horses, and trees.

He is a former vocational agriculture teacher, and a world champion cowboy who just won his 9th world title. Sid served as the Chairman of the Texas House Agriculture and Livestock Committee which oversees the Texas Department of Agriculture. Because of his extensive knowledge and work in agriculture, Miller was chosen to work directly with the Texas Agriculture Commissioner as a member of the Agriculture Policy Board. Ron Nehring is a veteran conservative leader who served until just recently as the Chairman of the California Republican Party, responsible for the direction and management of the largest state Republican Party in the nation. Maggie is proud to be Chair of the DC Federation of College Republicans. Her commitment to College Republicans began her freshman year at Georgetown, and she served as the Chair of Georgetown College Republicans in 2012. As a senior, Maggie enjoys debating with the Ethics and Bioethics Debate Teams, as well as with the Philodemic Society. She is double majoring in American Studies, and Philosophy with a concentration in Bioethics. Other than politics, Maggie’s passions include running long distances and enjoying bad TV. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Michael Caldwell

Michael Caldwell, 23, is the Republican Representative for Georgia State House, District 20. Michael was named by the American Conservative Union as one of CPAC's 10 Conservatives Under 40.

Michael and his wife Katie were both raised in Cherokee County, Georgia. After having received his education from Cherokee County Public Schools, Michael earned his Business Finance degree from Kennesaw State University in less than three years. Michael remains involved in Cherokee County’s educational system by maintaining an active relationship with School Board members and attending nearly every School Board Meeting as he has done for the past few years. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Heather Pfitzenmaier

As director of the Heritage Foundation's Young Leaders Program, Heather Pfitzenmaier oversees The Heritage Foundation’s efforts to reach out and promote our mission to the next generation of Americans. These programs include a rigorous but welcoming internship program, campus outreach and events for young professionals.

Herself an alum of Heritage’s intern program, Pfitzenmaier joined Heritage in 2007. Previously, she was intern coordinator for the Young Leaders Program, running various components of Heritage’s premier internship experience. Voice of the Conservative Vote: Karin Agness

Karin Agness is the Founder and President of the Network of enlightened Women (NeW), the nation’s premier organization for conservative university women.

She is a graduate of the University of Virginia, where she founded NeW after a summer internship with Senator Richard Lugar from Indiana. Karin has worked to grow NeW from a book club at one campus into a national organization with chapters at campuses nationwide. Upon graduation from the University of Virginia School of Law, she practiced law at Wiley Rein LLP in Washington, DC.
