Wasteful Spending in Montgomery County Road Bond Fails to Adequately Address Mobility Needs

Issues:

“Montgomery County has a traffic problem, and something must be done about it.”

Utter that statement to county residents and you’ll get a similar response to what you would hear had you just told them the sky is blue and Washington is incompetent. It’s a fact, and it’s terribly frustrating. Read more about Wasteful Spending in Montgomery County Road Bond Fails to Adequately Address Mobility Needs

Congress Works to Set a Federal Budget

In the United States today, each citizen owes nearly $57,000 to pay down our massive $18 trillion national debt. If we do not get serious about tackling this spending-driven debt crisis, we will harm opportunity for generations to come. Unfortunately, President Obama’s recently unveiled budget continues to spend more and tax more. It doesn't even balance. I believe we can and we must do better. It Is Obama's Fault!

Since 2009, America’s security has been imperil due to the feckless nature of Obama and much of his foreign policy team, including John Kerry and his predecessor, Hillary Clinton. America is less safe today than when Obama took his first oath of office, and the fault lies with Obama. There is no blaming Bush, no matter how hard Obama and his supporters within the punditry class and media will tell you, “It is Bush’s fault.” Read more about It Is Obama's Fault!

GOP Budget Will Protect Taxpayers

Writing and passing a budget is one of the most fundamental responsibilities of any legislative body.

When it comes to the budget … our priority is clear. Our priority is to protect the hardworking taxpayers of this country.

Net-centric micro-management in the anti-ISIS air plan

Issues:

After 13 years of the mind-numbing low intensity conflict in Afghanistan, I've never seen the knife more dull. All the hard lessons learned in Vietnam, and fixed during the first Gulf War, have been unlearned again. The level of centralized execution, bureaucracy, and politics is staggering. Hillary's Failures

The Democrats are starting to rethink their Hillary Clinton option, but she is still their leading candidate for President. The question is, “What will a Clinton foreign policy look like?” The conventional wisdom is that Clinton’s foreign policy will be closer to her husband’s foreign policy, which didn’t dramatically differ from Reagan/Bush years, but what if the conventional wisdom is wrong? GET READY to RUMBLE because Ted Cruz is running for President!

Issues:

I received an official call yesterday afternoon letting me know that Ted Cruz would declare his presidential candidacy on March 23, 2015 in Lynchburg, Virginia. His announcement took place this morning at Liberty University, known for its strong evangelical traditions. Read more about GET READY to RUMBLE because Ted Cruz is running for President!

Fracking Rule is Solution in Search of Problem

As Republicans work to increase our nation’s energy potential, the Obama administration continues to do the opposite. We all want to continue safe and responsible production of oil and natural gas. But this administration’s track record on hydraulic fracturing provides cause for concern. A widely publicized handful of fabricated charges that fracking pollutes ground water has led some to question the safety of this practice.
