Today, I announced plans to offer an amendment to H.R. 2, House-passed legislation addressing the so-called “doc fix.” This amendment would fully pay for the legislation by repealing Obamacare’s individual mandate.

The verbal exchange between the two leaders erupted after State Representative Dennis Bonnen (R-Angleton), who also serves Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, unveiled his plan for a $4.9 billion tax cut.
