A gunman with a heart fatally bent on mischief and with malice aforethought unleashed hell in Chattanooga last Thursday. The killer shot up an Armed Forces recruiting center and then drove to a Navy Reserve center and continued his shooting spree. Last week, I voted in support of legislation that will assist veterans, as well as strengthen our economy. H.R. 2499, the Veterans Entrepreneurship Act, was approved by the House to help veterans who want to start a small business. The bill makes it easier for veterans to get the capital needed to start a business by waiving the upfront guarantee fee on SBA Express Loans.
