Houston Young Republicans to Conduct Mayoral Forum, Friday, October 11th, 6:30 pm
Houston, TX – The Houston Young Republicans is pleased to be hosting a Mayoral Candidate Forum on October 11th, at S.P. Waltrip High. Confirmed participants include Mayor Annise Parker, Candidate Ben Hall, and Candidate Eric Dick.
As an organization, the Houston Young Republicans works to encourage awareness and active participation in the political process at all levels of government by members of HYR and the community.
Houston Young Republican Outreach Director and organizer for the event, Donna Saa says, “A major aspect of reliable and representative local government is vibrant civic engagement. We are very grateful that these candidates feel similarly, and we are looking forward to facilitating such an important dialogue.”
The event will be conducted at S.P. Waltrip High School, and will be moderated by Brandon Darby (Journalist for Breitbart.com and News Contributor to TexasGOPVote.com) and Kyle Coplen, MPA (Founder of Armed Citizen Project, and HYR Member.)
