Congressman Williams Introduces Operation Lone Star Reimbursement Act

Congressman Roger Williams (TX-25), introduced the Operation Lone Star Reimbursement Act, allowing the State of Texas to be reimbursed for the $11.1 billion they were forced to spend on border security efforts from 2021-2025.

“For 4 years under the failed Biden-Harris administration, Texas was forced to take on the job of the federal government and step up to protect our homes and communities from invasion," said Congressman Williams. “In just two weeks under President Trump, our border has already become more secure than any point in the last administration. I want to thank Governor Abbott for defending our nation in a time of crisis and agree that it is time Texans are repaid for footing the bill for Biden’s failures at the border.”
