Demanding Answers for US Postmaster General About Serious Postal Delays

Too many people in the Brazos Valley have been experiencing serious and concerning postal delays. Constituents have reported stories of bills, documents, and medication being delayed or lost in transit. These persistent issues are unacceptable — especially for seniors, small businesses, and others who depend on USPS for their livelihoods.

I sent a letter to USPS Postmaster General Louis DeJoy demanding answers about these issues and how USPS is working to fix them. These conditions are unacceptable, and as your representative, it is my duty to conduct oversight and seek accountability for the postal service’s failures. If these issues are not resolved, I will work alongside my Republican and Democrat colleagues to enact legislative solutions.
