Cornyn Praises Pres. Trump’s Approval of Cameron County’s Gateway International Bridge Project

U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) praised President Trump’s approval of Cameron County’s permit application to construct and operate a pedestrian crossing at the Gateway International Bridge, which connects Brownsville, Texas, to Matamoros, Mexico:

“I am glad President Trump has approved the construction of a pedestrian crossing at the Gateway International Bridge, which will help ease congestion and facilitate legitimate trade and travel,” said Sen. Cornyn. “I am grateful to the Trump administration for prioritizing this application at my request and to the Cameron County Commissioners Court for their work on this effort. I look forward to seeing the difference it will make for the Rio Grande Valley.”
