Congressman Keith Self Announces the Reopening of the Collin County Passport Office
Congressman Keith Self is proud to announce the reopening of the Collin County Passport Office after extensive collaboration with Collin County District Clerk Mike Gould and the U.S. Department of State. This marks a significant step in improving access to essential passport services for the residents of Texas’ Third Congressional District.
“The reopening of the Collin County Passport Office is a fantastic example of what can be accomplished for constituents with effective teamwork between local and federal officials,” said Congressman Keith Self. “My staff worked hand-in-hand with Collin County District Clerk Mike Gould to reopen this office, responding to the growing need for passport services in our community. Passport assistance is one of the top requests my office receives, and having a local facility will streamline service and greatly benefit residents throughout the region.”
“The opening of the passport acceptance facility is a huge win for the citizens of this area,” Collin County District Clerk Mike Gould said. “It took diligent work with Congressman Self and his staff, who really stayed at the forefront of this effort to help make this happen. It really was a team effort between federal and local officials.”
The Collin County Passport Office will officially open to the public on November 4, 2024. For more information, please visit www.collincountytx.gov/district-clerk/passports.
