Bipartisan Call to Reverse LNG Export Ban

In January, the Biden-Harris Administration announced an indefinite ban on liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports, placing our national security and economic prosperity at risk. The Administration has used every weapon and tool available to make producing American energy more difficult. 

In response, the U.S. House passed my legislation the Unlocking Our Domestic LNG Potential Act of 2024 by a bipartisan vote, and a federal judge recently blocked the administration’s ban on new permits.

It’s time for the Biden-Harris attacks on American energy to end. This week I joined Congressman Jodey Arrington (TX-19) and other members of the House Energy Export Caucus this week in a bipartisan effort demanding the Biden-Harris Department of Energy (DOE) reverse the LNG export ban.
