Promises Made, Promises Kept: Clearing Fentanyl Off Our Streets
This week, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced one of the largest drug busts in our nation’s history, in which the Drug Enforcement Administration seized 11.5 kilos of fentanyl powder and nearly 3 million fentanyl pills brought in by the Sinaloa cartel. In the same operation, the DEA seized 35 kilos of methamphetamine, 7.5 of cocaine and 4.5 kilos of heroin — all together, enough to poison and kill millions of Americans. Sixteen individuals with ties to the Sinaloa cartel — including six men in the country illegally — were also arrested in the operation.
President Trump promised the American people that he would secure the southern border and put a stop to flow of poison flooding our communities — and he is doing just that. I am so grateful this administration is dedicated to keeping Americans safe and cleaning up our streets.
