As Chairman of the Republican Study Committee, I joined my colleagues in unveiling our framework for a second reconciliation bill, titled "Making the American Dream Affordable Again." This comprehensive roadmap takes a direct aim at addressing the affordability crisis created by the failed policies of the Biden-Harris administration.

The plan lays out a clear, actionable strategy to restore the American Dream of homeownership, reduce health care premiums, cut energy prices, rebuild the American family, and slash wasteful government spending while codifying President Trump's America First agenda that puts American families, not Washington bureaucrats, first. 

It’s no secret that families across the nation are paying more for gas, housing, and health care because of failed Biden-era policies. This comprehensive plan takes a sledgehammer to that unaffordable agenda, cutting waste, unleashing American energy, and making it easier for Texans to own a home, afford high-quality health care, and keep more of their hard-earned paycheck.
