I issued the following statement tonight after the U.S. Senate passed the financial regulatory bill by a vote of 59-39. I voted "No."
Hawaii is to hold a special election for U.S. Representative of its 1st Congressional District on May 22 to fill the vacancy of Democrat Neil Abercrombie, who resigned in February.

It was not long ago when that the whole country and media where covering the Tea Party movement. It started out with normal American citizens who were expressing the Constitutional right of assembly and free speech towards the agenda in Washington.
