This budget not only reins in government spending, but it does so while strengthening our safety net and kick-starting the economy. It simplifies the tax code, preserves Medicare for current seniors, reforms it for future generations, and repeals Obamacare. Read more » Posted under:

Pelosi: ObamaCare’s “Best Is Yet to Come”?

Will Supreme Court Decision Unite America?“…we place Liberty at Peril.”
How the Justices Ruled on Health Care last week was a sad day for people who understand that the Affordable Health Care Act is not good for America. I voted to pass the House Republican budget, The Path to Prosperity, developed by House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan. This legislation will reduce spending by $4.6 trillion and balances the federal budget in ten years.
What a joy it has been to watch Texas’ newest Senator Ted Cruz in action! In the short time he has been serving in Washington, he has already become a strong voice on the Hill and made an enormous impact for the conservative values that we hold so dear.

Studies by MIT, the Cato Institute and the CBO have supported these numbers; so how do we declare health care a right when at minimal 5 to 10% of Americans would not see the benefit of the law on any given day?

In one of the most convoluted SCOTUS decisions since Roe v. Wade, the Affordable Care Act has, by and large, not been overturned. (There is an exception to this dealing with the instruction to states to vastly expand Medicaid. That will take much more time to even sort out.)
