"Thank God" for the pastors of the Houston Area Pastor Council, who are
President Obama promised the American people that he would make immigration reform a priority during his first year in office. Eighteen months into his presidency, he continues to deliver words, but no action.
Tomorrow, Monday, June 28, 2010, at approximately 7:00 a.m. EDT (also 7:00 a.m. CDT due to tape delay), U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, will be on NBC’s “Today Show” to preview the confirmation hearings of Elena Kagan to serve as an Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court.
National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) Chairman U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX), National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) Chairman U.S. Representative Pete Sessions (TX-32), and Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Michael Steele issued the following joint statement announcing the Majority Trust 2010 (Majority Trust), a new joint fundraising agreement between the Republican committees in advance of the 2010 midterm elections:
I dare say that all conservatives favor balanced budgets. However, a Constitutional Amendment would not stop the big spenders in Congress. A BBA WOULD MERELY GIVE THE BIG SPENDERS A CONSTITUTIONAL EXCUSE TO RAISE OUR TAXES EVEN HIGHER. Can you imagine what our taxes would be if Congress had to balance the multi-trillion dollar deficit??? <:-O
