Every week, TexasGOPVote highlights one or more of our fans and followers who exemplify the Voice of the Conservative Vote. They are the proponents who help us realize our mission to restore, renew, and reunite the Texas GOP. They are the online citizens, bloggers, authors, radio show hosts, ministry, thought leaders, and legislators whose opinions and insights we recognize. These individuals influence the Texas Republican vote as well as demonstrate the clear thinking, leadership, initiative, and values that are vital to the Texas GOP Primary Vote. Their values are vital for the leadership and success of Texas and the United States, now and in the future. They are the Voice of the Conservative Vote.

Kelly Horsley is a native Houstonian, a wife and stay at home mom to three boys, which she home schools. She firmly believes in the vision that our founding fathers had for our freedoms when they wrote the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. She dove head first into politics when she saw that these documents were being ignored with the first of the bailouts in 2008 and the election of President Obama.

Wayne LaPierre is the Executive Vice President of the National Rifle Association. He has worked as a government activist and lobbyist since receiving a M.A. from Boston College. He began working for the National Rifle Association in 1978 as a state liaison in the NRA Institute for Legislative Action (NRA-ILA). LaPierre would become Executive Director of the NRA-ILA in 1986 before taking over the top position at the NRA in 1991. Jan is an Associated Press Award Winning Veteran television investigative journalist, now turned citizen activist for the Conservative Movement. Her Conservative voice has generated a following of over 350,000 friends and subscribers on her website and three Facebook pages, “Jan Morgan,” “Jan Morgan Media,” and “Jan On America,” which led to her being selected the first Facebook Conservative Rockstar by Red White and Blue News.

John Davis is Texas State Representative of House District 129. In November 1998, John E. Davis was elected to the Texas Legislature to represent House District 129. Representative Davis serves on the Public Education Committee and as Chair of Economic and Small Business Development.
A native of Houston and a fifth generation Texan, Rep. Davis graduated from Baylor University in 1982 and University of Houston-Clear Lake in 1987. He is the past President of Oates Industries, an industrial roofing company; he now serves as an independent manufacturer representative for RPM, a roof and wall restoration company.

Kyle Scott, PhD, teaches American politics and constitutional law at the University of Houston and is a candidate for the Lone Star College Board of Trustees, Position #2. He has decided that in addition to writing about politics he should join in on the policymaking. In running for the LSCS Board of Trustees he hopes to restore fiscal sanity by opposing the addition of more debt and by keeping taxes and student fees down. His first and last obligation is to the taxpayers and the students.

Dale Huls is a conservative activist from Friendswood, Texas. Dale has taken up the cause of liberty, limited government, and fiscal responsibility with the conservative grassroots movement in Texas. Dale is the Republican Chair for Harris County Precinct 0655. He is also the 1st Vice-President of the Clear Lake Area Republican Party PAC. Finally, Dale has served on the Clear Lake Tea Party Executive Board for the last 3 years. Professionally, Dale is a NASA systems engineer at the Johnson Space Center.
