Services Available Through Your Congressional Representative

It’s a privilege to serve you and the rest of Texas’ 19th District every day. I’m honored to represent you in Congress, and every time I cast my vote in the Capitol, I think about how that particular bill will affect us in West Texas and the Big Country. I really do appreciate it when you write, call, and email me. It helps me to know what y’all think so I can vote in our best interest.

But I want you to know that voting to shape a better Texas, and a better America, isn’t the only way I serve you. My office offers a number of services to help you navigate the federal government and celebrate your achievements. For instance, I know sometimes it can be difficult to collect federal benefits. My office can get in contact with various federal agencies on your behalf to ensure you’re receiving all of the benefits you deserve – whether that’s social security, disability, nutrition assistance, Medicare, or veterans’ benefits. We can also assist you through the legal process of immigration, and help with federal grants.

For those of you with young ones, we like to help out young students too. We hire college students for our congressional internship program each semester and summer term. We love having TX-19 residents come to Washington to learn the policy side of things, and we also staff each of our three district offices with interns to learn about constituent services. We can walk you through the process of applying for financial aid to ease the cost of college tuition. And for high school students with an eye for serving our country, I can nominate you to our nation’s prestigious military academies.

And some of you know that when you come visit D.C., we’ll give you a tour of the U.S. Capitol, and set up tours for you of the Library of Congress, the White House, the Supreme Court, the Kennedy Center, the FBI Headquarters, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

Lastly, I like to take part in celebrating your biggest and littlest achievements. I’ll fly an American flag over the U.S. capitol for only the price of the flag and send a personal letter to commemorate birthdays, anniversaries, military enlistment, commissioning, or retirement ceremonies, or Boy Scout accomplishments. I can also arrange for congratulatory cards from the President to celebrate milestone birthdays and anniversaries.

Please give me a call toll-free at 888-763-1611 to take advantage of any of these services. I work for you!
