Immigration Reform: What Would Ronald Reagan Do?

We don't have to ask what he would do. We know what he did and it did not work. His amnesty bill was a complete failure for many reasons and those reasons would apply today.

He thought at the time that we had 1-2 million illegals. 4 million applied. We think we have 12-20 illegals now and we can only guess how many will apply.

And even if we do "document" all the undocumented illegals, how would that stop the flow of illegals, drug and human traffickers? Will they all be given documents and a free pass to come and go also? How will we know who is here to work and who is here to play?
