Senators Mike Rounds (R-S.D.) and John Thune (R-S.D.) introduced companion legislation in the Senate this week to protect the Second Amendment rights of spouses of military members. The Protect Our Military Families’ 2nd Amendment Rights Act allows spouses of active duty service members to purchase firearms in the state where they live due to military orders. Weingarten Realty owns several shopping centers in Texas. Recently they were sued by plaintiffs who had never visited the shopping center.
The complaint?
Allegedly, nine designated ADA van accessible parking spaces were not dispersed far apart enough.
