House Members Should Oppose Use of Partisan Reconciliation Tactic For Health Care Reform

Of course, one side is saying it will pass and one side is saying it won’t. All 41 Republicans have signed a bill that points of order will be held to a 60-vote standard on the bill supposedly to “correct the Senate bill in order to suit The House." So, there wil be no correction. The House must vote on the Senate bill AS IS. To make it happen, The House will have to immolate themselves both electorally and philosophically. I think it isn’t going to happen. If I’m right, will Obama finally admit defeat? But, it can’t hurt for him to toss in a few more speeches.
