“If you hang ‘em all, you get the guilty!”

There was a song, a ballad really, in the 1970’s by Tom T. Hall by that title and it goes on “If you hang ‘em all, you cannot miss!” I think it is appropriate for this situation: the enactment of Arizona’s SB 1070. The ballad articulates how a fellow, feeling wronged all his life, took his revolver and killed everyone who had ever mistreated him. Surely, he killed persons who were innocent but that didn’t matter to him. He was overwrought and went berserk.  Read more »
