Why Vote Straight Ticket? - Texas State Representatives - 2008 Election County Map

United we Stand, Divided we Fall!

Defeating the Obama Machine

Listening to someone say, "I am going to vote for the person and not for the party” and seeing a Bill White sign and a life size display of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the same Bexar County yard triggered this report. If we continue to vote for the ‘person’ and not for the party we are done. Look what has happened in Bexar County. Voters there have voted for ‘the person’ for so long that it has become a Mecca for the Socialists/Democrats. All you have to do is drive up and down some of the residential areas to know that these voters do not understand party politics. The signages in front of their homes speak of their political ignorance. I have seen signs for conservative candidates and a Bill White sign on the same yard. Before I am condemned for bringing this up, let me ask you, on a local and state level are you voting for your friend or relative because he/she is so nice and you personally know them? Voting for a candidate requires more than liking him or her. In fact more important than just liking the candidate we should understand what he/she stands for and how he/she intends to vote representing you. If he/she is an incumbent than you can check their voting record on issues you are interested in.

The worst aspect of these uninformed voters is their contribution to the decline of our conservative values. Many of these voters I am sure would never knowingly or willingly vote for abortion or same sex marriage. After all why would you have a life size display of Our Lady of Guadalupe the patroness of the unborn and then slide into the voting booth and vote for Bill White who is endorsed by Planned Parenthood? Because of their lack of knowledge and inability to connect the dots they continue to vote Democrat. We can not give up as these are the voters that may one day vote Republican.

San Antonio (Bexar County) is not the only inter city that has gone to the yellow dogs. Houston (Harris County), Austin (Travis County), Dallas and El Paso all voted for the Socialist Obama. West Texas and the Rio Grande Valley also voted for this WH occupier. Fortunately there were more sane and knowledgeable people than there were those so intent in Transforming America. So Texas remained RED. In just a few days we must vote straight Republican Ticket because voting for the ‘person’ won’t liberate us from the Obama Administration.

Most voters do not understand how important it is that we have a Republican judiciary because judges for the higher courts including the Supreme Court are selected from those that are victorious in the election battle. There is a growing trend to vote in Democrat/Socialist judges making it harder for Republicans to win. After the 2008 election Socialists/Democrats dominate the El Paso judiciary and in Dallas Socialists/Democrats won every contested judiciary seat. Let’s face it the Socialists/Democrats will continue to win if we don’t have the cajones to stand our ground and vote straight ticket on November 2nd.

Local and state representatives are critical in the voting process of the Texas legislature which includes 150 members of the House of Representatives and 31 members of the Senate. Remember, Voter ID did not pass because of the Socialists/Democrats. They were convinced the Republicans were racists. There were 35 Texas state representatives that supported the Health Care Reform bill. If you live in West Texas, Hidalgo County, please vote for Rebecca Cervera candidate for District 41. She is the perfect candidate that can make way for conservative values and politics to connect. The Coastal Bend District 33 has Raul Torres facing Solomon Ortiz jr. Don’t let JR and daddy Congressman Solomon Ortiz control this beautiful area. They both supported Health Care Reform. Jose Aliseda District 35 is endorsed by Texas Right to Life, Fernando Herrera District l48 is from the Houston area and Larry Gonzalez District 52 is from Austin, they should connect with voters and their conservative values and hopefully bring change to their districts. John Garza is running against that sneaky David McQuade Leibowitz in District 117. Sure would like to see Leibowitz go, that area needs some honest representation. The Hispanic candidates are highlighted for a very important reason. We need Hispanic Conservative/Republicans in the Texas legislature because we have a huge battle after the November 2nd election. The 2012 Campaign to rid ourselves of Obama!

SAISD launches $515 million bond drive
By John MacCormack - Express-News

With Henry Cisneros and state Rep. Mike Villarreal leading the charge, the citys oldest school district launched a drive Sunday to persuade voters to approve a $515 million bond issue on Nov. 2.

“Failure is not an option. We cannot fail these children and leave them behind. Our city will suffer. So lets go get it,” said Cisneros, to close a rousing speech to school board members, parents and placard waving kids.

President Bill Clinton with Ruth McClendon District 120 from San Antonio

Dear President Barack Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, and Members of the 111th US Congress:

As leaders in state legislatures across the country, we urgently call on President Obama and the U.S. Congress to take up and pass comprehensive health care reform in 2009. Failure to pass national comprehensive health reform now will further jeopardize state and local budgets, undermining public services like education, public safety, and transportation infrastructure. The recently passed economic recovery package includes a number of positive health care measures, but these do not remove states from the critical list. Achieving a high-performing, affordable and quality health care system for all US residents is central to a sustainable economic recovery and to the health and financial security of all families, businesses, and governments. We, the undersigned, call on President Obama and the Congress to enact bold and comprehensive health care reform this year ‚based on these principles and a strong federal-state collaboration ‚and pledge our support as state legislators and allies in pursuit of guaranteed, high quality, affordable health care for all.
Rep. Alma Allen, Rep. Roberto Alonzo, Rep. Rafael Anchia, Rep. Valinda Bolton, Rep. Norma Chavez, Rep. Ellen Cohen, Rep. Garnet Coleman, Rep. Yvonne Davis, Rep. Dawnna Dukes, Rep. Jim Dunnam, Rep. Jessica Farrar, Rep. Pete Gallego, Rep. Ana Hernandez, Rep. Abel Herrero, Rep. Scott Hochberg, Rep. Terri Hodge, Rep. Tracy King, Rep. Eddie Lucio III, Rep. Diana Maldonado, Rep. Marisa Marquez, Rep.
